Katy Calbreath received a Bachelor's in Journalism from Western Washington University. Since graduation she has worked as a systems administrator for companies including Lucasfilm, VeriSign, University of Washington and Microsoft.
According to Katy, she enrolled in CCT because her career experiences were teaching her the "purely technological side of the equation." Studying at CCT will allow her to study her field from a broader, interdisciplinary focus. She plans to study social and technical networking in developing nations, but she said she is also very interested in technology and information policy.
