Growing up in Taiwan, I received my Bachelor’s degree from Tamkang University in Taiwan, majoring in Practical Japanese. The degree included coursework in history, media, culture, business, politics and technology of Japan, as well as translation skills.
What attracted me most to CCT was the diverse and practical courses which include contemporary global issues, intercultural communication, media and technology attracted me the most. While at CCT, I am particularly interested in media courses and global issues, how the media affects the world and what challenges are developed countries facing and how do the leaders navigate their countries to go through them.
I believe CCT’s advanced level of study will assist my future career in media field. With CCT’s various courses, I hope I will gain knowledge of media effects, current world trend along with different cultural perspectives. In addition, through abundant internship opportunities in DC area, this will be a gateway to connect the world and to develop what I learn in CCT.
