In deciding to apply to CCT, I wanted to take my undergraduate education to the next level. I liked the idea of a hybrid program, because my undergraduate studies covered a variety of fields. I felt that Georgetown and the DC area are the perfect combination for helping a young professional broaden his/her culture horizons.
In terms of academics, I majored in Communication, journalism in undergrad, with a minor in Marketing. I was heavily involved with student advocacy and service organizations. I enjoy outdoors sports, especially kayaking. I like movies and hanging out with friends. I have led kayaking and outdoor adventure trips, as well as international service trips.
While at CCT I am most interested in international studies and diplomacy, as well as world economics/international-business as they relate to developing nations. My dream has always been to work and travel with either National Geographic or Outside Magazine. I plan utilize CCT to prepare me for a job that requires a knowledge of international relations, culture studies, and effective communication coordinations.
