Tatyana graduated from Tufts in 2003 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Media and Communication. Her four years of radio experience at one of the only remaining freeform radio stations in the country helped her to develop an appreciation for an independent and democratic media. Her lengthy stint volunteering at the now defunct Drug Policy Forum of Massachusetts, and her admin work with an alternative health clinic enhanced her interests in public policy reform, and inevitably led her to discover the possibilities of CCT. She hopes to improve her networking and technical skills, as well as get hands-on work in public policy in the areas of health education, cultural studies, and communications.
