If asked what appealed to me about the CCT program, I would have to suggest that I found the CCT program to offer a number of diversified courses in apects not limited to just communication but also concerning culture, IT and international business, especially focused in globalization and the impact of developing countries. This being said, business environment in developing and restructuring economies would be one area or topic within CCT that I am most interested in focusing..
I grew up in Guangdong, more commenly known as Canton. I spent four years in Beijing and I recieved my BA degree in English Language and Literature from Beijing Language and Culture University. I have extensive experiences in interpretation.
In thinking about what I am hoping to accomplish and gain from my CCT experience, I guess this is pretty much summarized on the CCT website: to understand the role of technologies plays in the world and how it translates itself into varied manifestations in culture and business through the most primal yet sophisticated and intricate means---communication.
