Thesis: Y2k As A Potential Crisis To The Global Economy And The Banking Community's Usage Of Internet Technology As A Crisis Management Tool To Communicate Compliancy Strategy And Progress

Biography:

Anne Marie serves as the Chair for the CCT Alumni Network Executive Council and on the Board of Governors for the Georgetown University National Alumni Association. Her article titled, The Internet as a Crisis Management Tool: A Critique of Banking Sites During Y2k", based on her CCT thesis was published in the Public Relations Review Special Crisis Management Issue in 2002. Anne Marie is currently serving as senior web manager for SCMS, a global HIV/AIDS project as part of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. The project focuses on assisting developing countries in cost-effective, reliable, secure and sustainable supply chains for delivery of life saving medicine and related products. Anne Marie leads efforts to develop a collaborative platform for practitioners in the HIV/AIDS field to share best practices and improve on services. In addition, she is spearheading efforts to develop the organization’s intranet as a knowledge-sharing platform to connect field offices worldwide and provide for a virtual workplace to empower staff to collaborate and keep informed on key HIV AIDS issues as they impact supply chain operations.
