Tuition figures are in U.S. dollars and apply to the 2010-2011 academic year. All fees are subject to change each year.
Tuition is charged based on the number of credits in which you enroll. Most CCT classes count for three credits each.
Tuition per credit: $1,623
Tuition for 18 credits/year: $29, 214 (full-time)
Tuition for 12 credits/year: $19, 476 (part-time)
One-time transcript fee: $50
CCT Lab Fee: $500*
Yates Fitness Center Fee: $348**
Student Health Insurance: $1,745
* mandatory annual fee, first two years of enrollment
** annually, optional for part-time students
*** annually, optional with proof of existing coverage
Full-time CCT students take nine credits per semester (18 credits per year). Part-time students take six credits per semester (12 credits per year). However, Georgetown's Office of Student Financial Services determines tuition cost estimates and initial billing based on a 12 credit semester. Please take this difference into consideration with regard to financial aid and assessing cost of attendance.
CCT Scholarships
CCT offers merit-based scholarships each year. Awards range from partial to full tuition. Stipends are not offered for living expenses. All U.S. and international students who submit applications for full-time enrollment by CCT's early/scholarship deadline are considered for funding. Upon completion of the application review, you will be notified by separate letter if you have been awarded a merit-based scholarship from CCT.

Additionally, two graduate fellow positions are available with CNDLS and only available to CCT applicants. The Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) is Georgetown University's center for teaching and learning, and is responsible for a number of projects relating to faculty and graduate student professional development, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and teaching with technology. The graduate fellows will help with the overall operation of CNDLS and work on a variety of projects involving pedagogical and scholarly innovation. The deadline for this fellowship application and for consideration is January 15th and is to be submitted with an individual's application for admission.
The details of this fellowship are:
Fifteen hours per week; stipend of $7,000 per semester for one academic year, with the possibility of continued employment during the second year on an hourly basis. Students must maintain a full time academic load over the two semesters that they hold the CNDLS Graduate Associate post.
• Technical/Media position – this requires advanced technical skills (website design and development, blog design and development, social media skills, possible graphic design, film/video, and photography as well, etc.) and will be engaged in some aspect of technological support of educational technologies and tools.
• Writing/Communication/Research position – This does not require advanced technical skills and will instead focus on writing and communication projects (composing, editing), assessment projects, technology projects, or projects involving research on student learning. The position does not require high technical skill, but some basic technical competency is important.
To apply, complete the CNDLS Fellowship Application Form and include this (upload as a supplemental form) with your application for admission. The deadline for this fellowship is the same as that for scholarship consideration, January 15th. All fellowship applications must be submitted and received with the application for admission.
