CCT is proud to announce that Professor Garrison LeMasters, will be changing his role with CCT from Adjunct professor to Visiting Assistant Professor starting January 2011. We are excited to have Garrison continue with CCT and his scholarship in the fields of critical and cultural studies.

Adjunct faculty member, Dr. Adel Iskandar was on Riz Khan earlier this week talking about "YouTube Wars" and the way that parties involved in conflict use that platform as a battleground for pitching their respective media campaigns. Click here to watch!

Professor Meltzer presents at University of Maryland on her new book about Journalism's Adaptation to Technology

On April 1, 2010, Professor Kimberly Meltzer gave two invited presentations entitled "Journalism's Adaptation to Technology: Tracking the Past to Understand the Present," to the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism and their undergraduate scholars program in Media, Self & Society. The presentations were based on her recently published book TV News Anchors and Journalistic Tradition: How Journalists Adapt to Technology (Peter Lang Publishing, 2010).
