Conferences and Calls for Papers

The following are conferences, calls for papers and conference-related resources of interest to CCT students. Competitive conference grant funding is available through the CCT Program only this year 2010-2011.

*Starred conferences denote those attended in the past by CCT students (and accordingly ones in which you might especially be interested).

There are three ways to get conference funding:

1) CCT conference grant application
Deadlines are Oct. 1, 2011 for summer and fall semester conferences; Jan. 29 and April 1, 2012 for spring conferences.

Conference funding is only available for current students who are presenting papers at conferences.

2) The Georgetown University Graduate School
The Graduate School will award a limited number of conference travel grants during the 2011-12 academic year.

Approximately 60 grants of up to $500 each will be awarded competitively. Both master's and doctoral students are eligible to apply.

3) Also keep in mind that there is external funding available for papers and projects, as well as travel and education. We suggest you start looking at the External Funding Opportunities for Graduate Students.
