Academic Background: B.A. in Law in 2016 and J.D. in 2018
Area of focus in CCT: Corporate/Political communications
What did you do before CCT? I was a junior associate and worked as an attorney at a law firm in Peru in Lima, my hometown.
What activities do you participate in at CCT? I love attending the various events that CCT puts on, including Faculty – Student Happy Hours, CCT Alumni Happy Hours, and the various holiday parties!
Why did you choose CCT? I chose CCT because of its interdisciplinary perspective and varied backgrounds of the students and faculty.
What surprised you about CCT? All the intercultural backgrounds that the students bring to it. You can find people from anywhere, you name it – students with different perspectives and life experiences, artists sharing classrooms with engineers and lawyers, working together on their common interests.
What have you been up to since CCT? Since graduating from CCT, I have worked as a Content Strategist at Democracy Forward, a non-profit organization that promotes and protects democratic values through advocacy and legal efforts. In my role, I design communication strategies to keep stakeholdersĀ informed and engaged about crucial social issues, including the public, founders, and policymakers. This involves crafting compelling narratives, managing outreach campaigns, and ensuring that our messaging effectively supports our advocacy and legal efforts to promote and protect democratic values.
