Current CCT Student Camille Koué Awarded 2012 Hester Beall Provensen Scholarship

The Hester Beall Provensen Scholarship is awarded every year by the Capital Speakers Club to a female undergraduate or graduate student in the DC Metro Area who is committed to pursuing a career in communications or public speaking.

As the 2012 recipient of the Hester Beall Provensen Scholarship, Koué delivered a speech in front a group of hundreds of members of the Capital Speakers Club. The club is dedicated to strengthening the voices of women through the art of public speaking, and through this, encouraging women’s growth, confidence, and self-respect.

A CCT student has been the recipient of this award for the last two years. We encourage all current female CCT students to apply. This year’s deadline is April 15, 2013.
