CCT Adjunct Faculty Mark MacCarthy on the policy challenges of AI
CCT’s Dr. Mark MacCarthy explores the policy challenges of artificial intelligence in his latest piece, published by CIO. He argues that the ethical issues associated with artificial intelligence ought to be a priority for policymakers, who have to contend with quelling concerns that AI will be “a biased, unaccountable force [that will] be deployed to create joblessness and exacerbate social and economic inequality.” Dr. MacCarthy, who teaches AI and Ethics at CCT, proposes approaches to policy that can ease the transition into the workplace of the future.
