CCT Adjunct Professor and Manager of Maker Hub Wins President's Excellence Award
Don Undeen, Manager of the Maker Hub in Lauinger Library and CCT Adjunct Faculty, was among a very select group of staff and academic professionals presented with the President’s Excellence Awards by University President Jack DeGioia at a ceremony held in Riggs Library on November 19th, 2018. As the President’s Office puts it, the Excellence Awards recognize those “who have gone above and beyond in their work and have made significant contributions to the University that have enhanced the quality of life on our campuses in substantial and lasting ways. They bring to our University an exceptional level of commitment that helps to deepen and strengthen the ethos of care, compassion, excellence, and engagement that characterizes our way of life here at Georgetown.”
Originally introduced to the University through his work with the CCT Pilgrimage Project in 2016, Don has spent the last two years building the Maker Hub in Lauinger Library into a thriving, diverse, and cross-disciplinary community of makers learning and creating together. He credits the on-going support of CCT students and faculty for the Maker Hub’s rapid growth and success. Don teaches Creative Web Development at CCT this semester.
Congratulations, Don!
