CCT Professor Yianna Vovides facilitates an e-learning Workshop in Botswana

CCT Professor Yianna Vovides facilitated a workshop on eLearning and strategic plan development in Gaborone, Botswana this past February. The workshop was part of the Medical Education Partnership Initiative (MEPI), a U.S. government-sponsored initiative that grants awards to medical schools in twelve African countries for medical education and locally-relevant research capacity-building. The workshop highlighted new eLearning approaches, including delivery methods and eLearning tools. Professor Vovides was one of the leads in setting the agenda and facilitating the elearning workshop. She also serves Communications Cluster Lead and elearning Technical Group Coordinator for the MEPI Coordinating Center.
