CCT Professors Barba and Osborn receive ITEL Award
CCT is proud to announce that our Professors Evan Barba and JR Osborn have been awarded an Open Track ITEL Award for their project, “The Pilgrimage Project”, from the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) after a highly competitive call for proposals.
Open Track ITEL Awards are granted to projects that experiment with technologies and pedagogical designs to improve teaching and student learning at the course or curricular level.
“The Pilgrimage Project” cultivates a spirit of contemplation to reengage space and place on Georgetown University’s campus. The project consists of two overlapping phases, which involve five different undergraduate and graduate courses. The first phase creates a deeply layered, multiperspective archive of Georgetown’s Old North building and history. Students from these five courses will contribute to the archive with responses to, information about, and research into the space.
