CCT student wins the Judges’ Choice Award at the New Media Consortium Summer Conference

Elad Meshulam (CCT’14) won the Judges’ Choice Award at the prestigious New Media Consortium Summer Conference in Portland. Elad, the outgoing CCT fellow at CNDLS, presented the GeorgetownX MOOCs experience.

His presentation was What We’ve Learned About Building MOOCs and included insights and analytics from our GeorgetownX courses, an understanding of best practices for online courses, and many video examples of Georgetown’s designs and philosophy of GeorgetownX. Elad participated in the Idea Lab contest, where the judges “evaluated the entries, looking for the freshest and most creative presentations and ideas,” and won.
