CCT '02 Alumnus and Filmmaker Michael Graziano Launches Campaign for Film
Posted in News
CCT ‘02 Alumnus Michael Graziano, a filmmaker at ujifilms.com has recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for his new film called RESISTANCE. The film is about the pandemic of antibiotic resistant bacterial infections. Graziano explains the impulse behind making the film: “You may already know that these bacteria (and the way we use antibiotics) pose a serious threat to our entire food supply, the stability of our soil and water supply – especially near industrial animal farms – and especially to children and anyone with a depressed or compromised immune system. RESISTANCE explains why this is, and more importantly, what we can do to protect ourselves and our loved-ones from these so-called superbugs.”
Wired.com has also published an article about RESISTANCE on their science blog “Superbug,” which you can read here.
Michael will be filming in DC at the end of March, including an interview at the FDA, and he is looking for some production assistance. Please contact him if you’re interested.
