Erica Seng-White earned her PhD at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government in political science with specializations in international relations and comparative politics. She completed her MA in International Affairs at American University’s School of International Service. She earned her BA in International Relations with a minor in Mandarin Chinese at the College of Wooster. Her research focuses on nationalism, mass media, social movements, and public sentiments in East and Southeast Asia. She has taught courses on international relations, comparative politics, Asian politics and quantitative methods.
