A graduate of the Georgetown College (2011) and the Graduate School's Communication, Culture, and Technology (CCT) program (2012), Samhir's professional and academic pursuits center on the responsible use of technology and data to advance social impact.
Samhir has worked at the World Bank, IREX, Meta (formerly Facebook) to help organizations, civil society and government leaders, entrepreneurs, and researchers leverage digital tools, good design practices, open data, and open innovation to foster better outcomes in health, education, water, sanitation, and other contexts.
He has also taught design innovation and data visualization at Georgetown's Graduate School of Foreign Service program, and more recently at the CCT program.
Samhir is Founder and Principal of Dev, a small design thinking, graphic design, and data strategy consultancy.
