Internships and Independent Study
Communication, Culture & Technology students may explore additional ways to earn credits toward their degree.
Internships
If the internship meets Communication, Culture & Technology Learning Goals, the student may earn 3 academic credits. Policies and procedures are available to current students in the Student Handbook. See what Communication, Culture & Technology students say about their experiences in the Internship Spotlight series. Students can opt to take internship courses within the department, or enroll in the Bring Your Own internship course.
Independent Study
Students may propose an independent study if they have a specific research need that cannot be fulfilled in a regularly scheduled course. Up to 3 academic credits may be earned from such a project. Policies and procedures are available to current students in the Student Handbook. Check out our Faculty profiles to see who might be the best fit.
