“All the students, faculty, and the staff come from different educational backgrounds … you get the chance to look at issues from various perspectives.”

Academic Background: BA in Political Science, International Relations, and German Language & Literature

Area of focus in CCT: Communication, human rights, and non-profits

What did you do before CCT? I graduated from Syracuse University and earned my BAs in Political Science, International Relations, and German Language & Literature in May 2020. I started my CCT journey in August 2020.

What activities do you participate in at CCT? I started my CCT journey online. However, I had the chance to lead and organize the Media Fest, which is a festival organized by CCT students. Media Fest was previously organized for one day where students showcase their multimedia projects. Last year, we organized it for 3 days with various activities to give students a chance to connect with each other and learn from each other.

Why did you choose CCT? Among the seven schools that I got accepted into, I chose CCT because of its unique program and faculty. I loved the variety of the courses, how small the program is, and the option to do a thesis. Additionally, I was fascinated with the background of each faculty.

What surprised you about CCT? I was really impressed by everyone. All the students, faculty, and the staff have come from different educational backgrounds. This makes the program much better because you get the chance to look at issues from various perspectives. You learn from each other!
