CCT 2nd-year Launches Refugee Film Forum in Syria
Posted in News
CCT’s Handan Uslu just launched The Refugee Film Forum, a project that enabled 200 Syrian kids who to watch a movie for the first time ever. The Syrian civil war began in 2011 and Handan’s goal was to touch the lives of kids who were born into the war.
Handan designed her project – winner of the Georgetown International Relations Association’s Global Generations Grant – to maximize social impact and serve as a model for how to accomplish this impact on a low budget and without local language skills. Great job, Handan!
