CCT Adjunct Professor Mike Nelson gave the commencement address for the University of Maryland’s College of Information Studies on Monday, May 20. The iSchool focuses on the role of information in our lives, and how it affects government, employment, education, health care and more. Professor Nelson talked to graduates about his own experiences in the different fields of government, industry, academia, and the media. He advised the graduates to “always have a good bumper sticker,” and proceeded to discuss various memorable ideas, or “bumper stickers,” designed to “get embedded in your brain” and “to be tweeted and retweeted.”
