“I appreciate the opportunity to build my curriculum and explore a program curated to my interests.

Academic Background: BA in Visual Arts

Area of focus in CCT: Technology for immersive experiences and interaction with art

What did you do before CCT? I was a freelance artist before I joined CCT!

What activities did you participate in at CCT? I was a recipient of the CNDLS fellowship, which you can apply for during the first round of the CCT application process. At CNDLS, I worked in the Media Team as a graphic designer. The media team’s primary focus is the video lectures for the online courses offered by Georgetown and any media project related to educational programs at GU. My role was editing and incorporating the graphics in the videos. I was also involved with Gnovis (though I was not a member of the Gnovis team), and designed the cover of the 2023 Gnovis Journal and the 2024 CCT Yearbook. My work was also selected for publication in the spring 2023 Gnovis Journal.

Why did you choose CCT? I chose CCT because of its interdisciplinary qualities. As someone with a visual arts background, I wanted to have the flexibility to learn from people with different perspectives and different fields. I also appreciate the opportunity to build my curriculum and explore a program curated to my interests.

What surprised you about CCT? So many international students! I love the cultural exchange we experience at CCT.

What have you been up to since CCT? I recently was brought on as the Marketing and Administration Coordinator at the Folger Shakespeare Library here in DC. I’m really looking forward to furthering my career in Museum Experience Design, and I’m also exploring opportunities to get involved in DC’s art scene and participate in art fairs as an illustrator!
