Karthik Ramachandran graduated from Georgetown University’s Masters of Communication, Culture & Technology in 2006. While in the program he focused on the intersection of technology and public policy. At the same time he took advantage of the breath of the program and explored a number of other topics.
Mr. Ramachandran earned a distinction for his thesis, The Evolution of Media Industries and the Public Sphere: Does The Blogosphere Serve as a Public Sphere? Which explored the role of the blogosphere in public discourse.
Mr. Ramachandran completed his undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University. He double majored in Computer Science and Business Administration and minored in Mathematics.
He is currently a Software Engineer at Sterling Computers, an IT services company, which specializes in helping government agencies meet their unique technology challenges.
